Technological Breakthrough: From Laboratory to Industrialization
In terms of synthesis, hydrolysis-polycondensation has become the mainstream method. Using phenyltrimethoxysilane and tetramethyldisiloxane as raw materials, under the action of an acidic catalyst, and through precise control of hydrolysis time and polycondensation temperature, a high-purity resin with a methoxyl hydrolysis rate of up to 99.9% and a residual hydroxyl content of only 0.57% can be prepared. By optimizing the end-capping agent ratio, companies like Hubei Maidehao Chemical have stabilized resin viscosity within the 50-300 mPa·s range, meeting the needs of diverse application scenarios. For example, in LED packaging, using a resin with a 0.5% hydrogen content and a viscosity of 722 mPa·s as a crosslinker increases the mechanical strength of the cured product by 30% while maintaining an optical transmittance of ≥98%.
