Currently, there are many patents on LED packaging materials, and phenyl packaging materials have been the most studied.

Zhang Wei et al. used tetraphenylcyclotetrasiloxane and vinyl double head as raw materials, polymerized at 80-100℃ for 6-8h in the presence of an alkaline catalyst to synthesize vinyl phenyl silicone oil; used phenyltrimethoxysilane and hydrogen-containing double head as raw materials, reacted at 70-80℃ for 3h in the presence of hydrochloric acid, and then washed and distilled to obtain hydrogen-containing phenyl resin. Vinyl phenyl silicone oil and hydrogen-containing resin are cured for LED packaging materials, which have high refractive index (＞1.54), high transmittance, good heat resistance and thermal shock stability.
