Traditional high-performance protective coatings often rely on high-temperature curing and two-component formulations, resulting in cumbersome application and high costs. IOTA-OPSZ-9150 organosilicon polysilazane resin, however, offers advantages such as room-temperature curing, single-component compatibility, and multi-functional protection, making it a practical new material for both civilian and industrial applications.
This resin is a colorless and transparent liquid system with a viscosity of only 50 cPs, exhibiting excellent flowability and smooth application without clumping. As a single-component product, it requires no complex formulation and can only be diluted with ether or alkane solvents. The use of water and alcohol solvents is strictly prohibited to avoid damaging the molecular structure. Its curing pace is gentle, requiring only 2 hours for surface drying and 3 days for complete curing at 20-25℃ room temperature, balancing application efficiency and molding quality.
Due to its excellent film-forming and modification capabilities, its application scenarios are very broad. It can be used as an anti-graffiti coating for buildings and an anti-corrosion coating for metals, providing long-lasting protection for the substrate due to its solvent resistance, self-cleaning, and corrosion resistance. It can also be used as a special curing agent for silicone resins to increase the crosslinking density of the coating, and as a hardening agent for ordinary organic resins to significantly improve the hardness and wear resistance of conventional coatings.
Practical cleaning and maintenance have clear specifications. Tools must be cleaned immediately with acetone or solvent oil after application. Once fully cured, the coating exhibits extremely high stability and cannot be removed by ordinary solvents; it can only be cleaned by soaking in a 10% sodium hydroxide aqueous solution for at least 5 hours. The product is packaged in a 5-liter sealed metal drum for convenient storage and transportation, making it a highly cost-effective multi-functional protective resin material.
