In daily kitchen operations, the oil and water stains adhering to kitchenware are often difficult to remove completely. However, organic polysilazane, with its outstanding hydrophobicity, provides an efficient solution to the cleaning problems of kitchenware. 
The hydrophobic property of organic polysilazane stems from its unique molecular structure. After the silicon-nitrogen bonds in the molecular chain react with the surface hydroxyl groups, a dense cross-linked film is formed. This film has an extremely low surface energy, similar to putting on a "water and oil repellent coat" for the kitchenware, making it difficult for water and oil stains to penetrate and adhere. For plates and bowls, this coating can prevent direct contact between food residues and the surface of the utensils, even if there are residual egg liquids or sauces that are sticky, they can be easily rinsed clean. 
What is more noteworthy is that this hydrophobic coating has strong stability and can withstand high temperatures and acidic or alkaline environments in the kitchen. It can maintain its hydrophobic effect even after long-term use. It not only reduces the amount of cleaning agents used, lowers the risk of chemical residues, but also extends the lifespan of kitchenware, transforming kitchen cleaning from a cumbersome task into a relaxing experience.
