The preparation process of diphenylsilanediol is usually prepared by hydrolysis reaction using diphenyldichlorosilane as raw material. However, the traditional hydrolysis process has problems such as high equipment requirements, high pollution and low product purity.
In order to solve these problems, researchers have developed a new preparation process. The new process uses high-content diphenyldialkoxysilane as raw material, acetic acid as catalyst, and hydrolysis reaction in ketone or ether solvent. This process not only avoids the generation of a large amount of hydrochloric acid, but also improves the purity and yield of the product.
The reaction conditions of the new process are relatively mild, usually carried out at 55-65°C. After the reaction, dry needle-shaped diphenylsilanediol crystals can be obtained by filtration, centrifugation and rotary evaporation. This process not only simplifies the production process, but also reduces the production cost, providing a new way for the industrial production of diphenylsilanediol.
